That's the feeling you get when the Mrs gets it into her head to "see if I could scrape the scum out of the pipe". The one I was going to replace tomorrow morning. Now we have no drainage from the kitchen sink and where she has bent all the pipework the majority of the under sink plumbing needs replacing too. Ghaaaaaaaaaaaaah! 👿

No... But where she was messing with the u bend and all the bits there, they all appear to now be leaking. Tbf whoever did the original job was a ****wit anyway.... Looks like they threw the pipework at the wall and hoped it would stick...
Make sure all the rubber o rings are still in place.
That's the usual fault, they get thrown out with the dirty water and everything leaks.
(Normally found on the lawn where the dirty water was thrown because the sink wasn't connected)
On inspection most of the other rings had perished.... New fittings don't actually fit so have taken all the other rings off them. Now just waiting to see if the one shot will work on the blockage before fitting everything back....
