It has been, for various reasons, a bit of a tough year. Normally, I'd head back to Blighty for a few weeks in Sept, but having been there more than normal, and having seen a fair bit of the insides of hospitals, I am thinking of heading somewhere in Sept/Oct for a bit of relaxing/doing sweet fa/sunshine.

Where is good ?

Budget?
For sunshine, rum and doing sweet FA, Barbados is superb!

Yorkshire is a wonderful place to visit, but I've been here for 4 weeks in May and will be here for 5 weeks this time. I need to find a different place to be for a week or two of relaxation.

Budget is a good question, and one I hadn't thought much about. let's say under £2000 in total for 14 days.

Spain's nice in Sept/Oct, not so hot and a lot less touristy.

Bike or no bike?
