Did anyone see this or know the circumstances surrounding his off? When he didn't appear in the finishing area the organisers set up the podium and presented the trophies. I left about five minutes later and at that point there was no announcement saying he was ok or otherwise. It looks like he's had a heavy crash and dislocated his hip 🙁
D.
I blame whatever wheelsize he was using.
Apparently a new hip jump up high on the course somewhere. It's easy to overshoot, Loic Bruni mentioned having to brake before it to avoid this.
The new 29er picks up speed that much quicker that Gee went in too quick and overshot then got bucked off.
Induced coma 😥
It's Nicky Hayden the motorbike racer that's in an induced coma, Gee dislocated his hip! Better to check a bit more carefully next time eh?
To be fair to scotroutes, it's an easy mistake to make about George.
😆
Yeah. That's what happens when you're barely listening and you hear "sport person" "bike accident" "induced coma" .
My apologies to Mr Atherton
Gee news was on that obscure site Singletrackworld.summink
Aye, cheers all. Healing vibes going out to George 😀
And to Nicky 🙁
