... I didn't give a monkeys when I picked mine up, missws, is meeting me there at 9 this morning and I'm very nervous for her.

Randomly a few people I went to school with are also awaiting results today.

Good luck everyone!

Aye, tension's mounting here too. Sixth form college choice hangs on it. In my youth you just carried on at the same school, now social group upheaval and status caused by moving around all adds to the pressure.

Good luck to everyone BTW!

Sleepless night.

Seadog the Younger is bit of a boffin, but also doesn't really bother that much about this stuff.  He's probably the most relaxed in the house right now.  Mrs Seadog is totally stressed as she hates the thought of him not doing as well as he potentially could do, and then others at school having the unkind thoughts of 'not as clever as they all said then?'   "They" being the teachers and classmates.

Fingers crossed...

Missws is the opposite to seadog jnr, overlooked a fair bit by teachers who hadn't spotted her grit and sheer determination to do well. I really really hope she does well to show them as much as for herself.

A really clever person realises there's more to life than swotting.  Sounds like he'll do fine.

Thank goodness. The boy done good, very very good. Better then we had ever hoped.

The school did fantastically overall, which is nice as its had many naysayers around our way due to a long standing perception of not being a bit crap.

The kind of people who were last at the school 20 plus years ago panning it now because of the way they were treated back then.

This is my favourite quote ever! 🙂

And it so applies to my own daughter who, incidentally, did very very well indeed.

I passed all mine with flying colours, except Greek mythology of all things.

But that's always been my Achilles elbow.

Nice one all.

Oab house had National 5 and Higher results a couple of weeks ago, all good. Speaking to a friend yesterday though and enquiring how her son got on, the answer was 'I need to work on my poker face, the only thing worse than the results was my reaction....' 😂😓😨😩
