Thought we'd got a bargain back in the spring with a HiGear Shelter350 from GoOutdoors big sale. Had it up in the garden all summer. Came to take it down this week and the sheet has basically turned to wrapping paper. Touch it and it rips. Literally falls apart. Now maybe this was the heatwave destroying the material but, you know, its an outdoor shelter 'for all weathers'.

So its gone back. Refund done. Not going to trust that brand again.

Whats an actual good one, and a good one that is 3.5m to 4m wide. There's loads around 2 to 2.5m wide, too small.

Most of those types of shelters aren't really designed to stay up all summer so the UV will get them.
They're event shelters.

But if UV gets them then they're not going to last many summer events either.
Are there any that ARE designed to stay up long (and short) term?
Or am i thinking of a garden house!

Well if you've had it up for 3 months then that's the same as 12 week long "events" or 3 a year for 4 years.
Or 6 long weekends a year for 4 years.
Not too bad for a "bargain"....plus you could recover it if you wanted.

I think that something made from timber or masonry might be more appropriate to be up for whole summers over multiple years.

Even the millennium dome eventually tore.

Or, with your refund, but the same again and replace with the refund each year.
