"The Queen has displayed the common touch by catching a commuter train back to London after her Christmas break in Norfolk"
I'm neither pro- nor anti- the monarchy. But I do wish us commoners could have a christmas break that goes on to the 9th Feb.
Not dead then?
I think there are different definitions of "break"
She's never really off duty, what with controlling all those armies.
What does everyone call her when she's on a break?
How many armies though?
Although all the commoners were shoved into one carriage whilst she had 7 carriages to herself, one for her and 6 for the corgies....
But I do wish us commoners could have a christmas break that goes on to the 9th Feb.
My parents do, cos they're 70 and retired. I think the Queen is too.
The Queen has displayed the common touch by catching a commuter train back to London after her Christmas break in Norfolk.
Escorted by the station manager, she boarded the 10.54am Great Northern train service from King's Lynn station to Kings Cross on Monday, taking her first-class seat five minutes before departure.
Its true every working class commoner I know returns from Xmas in February with an escorted first class train ride back from their castle to their palace
The common touch indeed.
#Humbling

Imagine getting told off by the Queen for chatting on your mobile in the quiet coach... 🙂
