Any company recommendations, and who to avoid. Will be taking mtb so this appears to be the easiest way.

I just use the official one. Used it a few times now, no issues.

Used the official one just last week. No issues, helpfull friendly staff and about 5 minutes walk from North Terminal. Would definitely use again.

Another vote for the official one.

Cheaper than the 'not' official ones, and no chance of seeing your car in the daily mail when they discover the cars dumped in fields

Have you looked at short stay ?

Not used it at Gatwick, but very close to entrance and normaly cheaper than meet and greet

I used  https://www.flyparkplus.co.uk/ to find parking at Heathrow T5.  They seemed to delegate it to another company but everything worked as expected and for the 3 or so days I was away for cheaper than all other official parking means.  They also cover Gatwick presumably with other partners, it is worth shopping around.

There are 2 or 3 companies at Gatwick, all use the same car park area.

Use them all the time.

Used the one at South Terminal several times now, it's our preferred option. Drive to into the short stay car park, level 2 (I think), park up and go to the office to hand keys in. Cross the road and you're in departures.

Unlike purple parking at heathrow .....never again

I use the short stay or long stay depending on price when I’m travelling with bike. Even long stay with bike is not much hassle. Whereas I know people who have had major hassles even with the official meet and greet. No way would I leave my car with meet and greet.
