have been wanting to change to another supplier from british gas (was thinking e).
am just wondering what happens to any credit you have on the meter at the time when it is switched over to new supplier/ does it just transfer to the new supplier (say i had £10 on my british gas meter at the time of switchover).
i have tried to find an answer but i cannot find one (you would think there would be an answer to this tbh easily searched).

i got the answer from british gas and they will refund you the money in cheque form just leaving it here in case anyone else ever wanted the answer (seriously couldn't find the answer when i binged it it kept coming up with transferring debt etc which wasn't what i wanted to know).
