Any oven experts on here?
I have a gas oven that's taking ages to cook, 3-4 times the recommended cooking time. The oven itself doesn't feel to hot either when you open the door.

Google suggests it could be the thermocouple/fsd which seems logical. Replacement looks to be straight forward but I don't want to bugger about with gas parts.

Anybody experienced similar issues?
Cheers

I'm no expert but I'd have thought thermocouple failure would shut off the gas completely? If you do need to replace it though, there's no gas in it.

FSD failure would mean the oven would never light at all. Thermostat is your problem. Vial or capillary tube has perished, I'd guess, or maybe something in the valve body. Not a DIY job as there more to it than just changing a valve. Get on the GasSafe website and have someone do it properly.
