They may well be reduced soon anyway as the Fenix 8 Pro has just been released - rather underwhelming and expensive. Or they may not get reduced....

Nooo, it's the STW code that gets emailed to access the discount section. Tried it dozens of times and always comes back as an invalid code

Just use health service discounts. It opens up the same Garmin discount portal. It's free to join and requires no actual proof that you work in the health service in any capacity.

Code generation works fine for me. Not sure if you need to use the same email address that is registered on your STW account..
Email @Mark and let him know your access doesn't work. I think he contacts the discount people and they do something.
When it gets sorted, before going to it, make sure you've logged out of your Garmin account on the website (you can stay logged in on the app). The discount only applies if you are a guest on the Garmin website.
Once purchased, get the sales code then log into your account on the website and you can add the purchase to your history.
