quick word of thanks to STW Forum.

I started looking at fitbits, smar****ches, gps trackers etc. just over  a year ago and after consuming huge amounts of information from here and dcrainmaker, with a potential budget starting at £50 and regularly rising to £500... i decided that i just didnt need one!  Think the emergence of the Garmin Epix finally broke me as the potentially perfect solution at an unatainable price.....

roll on 12mths and to help kick off 100 days of exercise, i treated myself to a second hand garmin instinct solar, £125.
its been excellent so far, thanks for all the input.

I bought a referb off eBay a couple of years ago. Best digital watch I’ve ever had. All the things I want, nothing I don’t. Battery lasts ages, waterproof and you can actually read it outdoors. Plus it was cheap enough that if I smash it it wont be the end of the world - as long as they still make them!
