So, have had the 310XT for a few weeks now and a shweeeeeet piece of kit it is. However...and there's always a "however"...there is one thing I want to do with a particular file and I'm not sure whether or indeed, if, I can do it.

Last Saturday, three crewmates and I did a head race over a 3.25k course on the river Avon. A head race is the rowing equivalent of a cycling time trial. Each boat sets off at roughly 30 second intervals, the one difference being that it's a rolling rather than standing start. It's kind of difficult to start and stop the forerunner when you actually cross the start and finish lines (but I can pinpoint these quite easily on google maps) as you're sort of concentrating on your hands (which is quite a bit when you're as shit as me). The fact that I completely forgot to stop it, and can now see us taking the boat out of the water, swivelling round a few times, then walking up to the field, derigging etc etc just confuses the situation more.

I want to be able to take the "race" portion out of the file, export it and e-mail it to the other three crew members so we can see just how shit we were.

Jamie, I know you may well read this...would Rubitracks do this or can I do it within the Garmin software itself?
