Any good ,tips and tricks etc
Mrs Karlsbug has one, does whats it says really, battery life a bit poor when recording an activity (GPS on) but lasts a long time when just using as a watch. Its OK for basic running/walking and was cheap but with hindsight a 15 is much better value as it will do heart rate and is also a step counter but Mrs K didn't need that so it suits her.
I have one I don't have much good to say I'm afraid. My main complaints are it takes an ages to find a GPS signal, and the battery life is awful. Also as it is an old model it lacks wireless connectivity, although how much that matters depends on your use.
What are you looking at it for?
Garmin fr10 is an old model but as a basic watch for logging runs it will do the job. I have a 225 which I love as it has HR in the watch and also doubles as an activity tracker. I sync it with my phone using blue tooth and it links to strava. I think its worth the extra money
