I need a replacement cable for my Garmin 800.

Are they really different?
Will the cheap one do?
Any mini USB cable will do, just make sure its not a charge only one (though I've only seen these in micro USB)
The 99p one will be fine
OK, thanks. They describe it as "FOR DATA SYNC AND/OR CHARGING", so that's alright. I just couldn't understand why they specified only one model of Garmin.
Just aiming for the chunk of the market that people will Google for that particular model. If you look at their ebay shop, there are probably lots of listings for the same USB cable with different descriptions. EBay sellers doing this usually up the price a bit to make it look like a specific model.
Yeah, I guessed I was something like that. I thought they were all the same, it's just that when the cheapest dedicated 800 cable was three times the price, I started having doubts.
They're missing a trick then by not selling an 800 cable for 99p.
