I have an existing Course saved in Garmin Connect. I'd like to change the course and save it as a different name. Garmin Connect seems to automatically delete the older version of the course when it is re-named. What I need is a 'Save As' type file saving function.
Any ideas?

I didn't realise it did this. How annoying. Of course, you can't export a course from GC (which is frustrating) and then re-import it. A quick google revealed this workaround though:
Send course from Connect to device.
Load course from device to Garmin Training Centre
Export course from Garmin Training Centre as GPX file.
Manual Load GPX file as course into Connect
Rename and save.
I could be mistaken, but I thought you had to manually import a GPX as an [i]activity[/i] and then make a course from that so there could be an extra step.
Go into the garmin as if it were a USB stick, use explorer to copy and rename the gpx file?
Or upload it to bikehike then export it back onto the Garmin with a new name.
