we have a pair of garden speakers, were connected to a Monitor Audio IPod dock. It’s a few years old but decent sound. When I refurbished the workshop into a TV/gaming room I’ve managed to loose the power adapter.
Suggestions please on how to connect the speakers. Do I need an amp to connect to IPAD/phone//Dot/TV or soundbar. All of these only have a 3.5mm output.
Is it not simplest to source a new power adaptor? Is it just 9v? It should say on the dock what power input requirements are.
Are the garden speakers powered? How are the speakers cables connected to the audio source?
Just buy a multi voltage power adaptor.

New dock power was over £30 when I looked, United has been out of production for a while.
