Wood or metal, surely metal's the way forward so why bother with wood at all?

Personally, I think wood is nicer, so I'll carry on with that

What cheesy said. You can easily 'hide' a shed in a garden, much softer lines etc, and it weathers in after a while. Ive also liked how customisable it is, if you want to put a shelf up you just screw it on and job done in 5 minutes. Plus it depends what its for, bikes, probably metal is best. Garden tools, wood is just fine.

If a metal shed would be in keeping you need to move. That and condensation.

you need to get the ventilation right with steel or there's bad condensation.

Easier to repair a wooden shed after 10 years too any breaks in the rust proofing/paint on a steel shed is going to be terminal over time.

Sounds better working in a wooden shed in a hailstorm as well!
