I'm in need of a garden fork for up at the allotment but due to ongoing back issues I can't use ours any more as it's too short. At 5'11 I'm not a giant but need one with a decent length handle so I'm not half crippled everytime I do anything up there.
If you already have a spade, and I presume you have, why not just dig a hole next to wherever you want to fork and stand in it to do the forking? That’s just physics, relativity or something. It’ll have the hidden benefit of giving you some extra holes at the allotment, for plants and such like.
