We're having an extension which includes rebuilding the garage. When it comes to the floor, I've already asked the builder to pitch the level so water would flow out, such that I could clean my bike in the garage. Then I got thinking; I could put two indentations in the setting concrete in which to stand a bike for maintenance. Would this work? Any way of doing it to take into account potential different wheel sizes?
Just concrete Hora in arse up,parking sorted 😉
They would have to be pretty deep to be able to cope with a wide range of tyre widths (can be shallow if snug fit) also wheelbase variation? They will fill with mud and water etc.
Much easier to just get something like an Andy Stand
Also think about getting some anchors concreted in.
