[Closed] Garage door bolts - access from the outside?

I'm going to fit some of those Pacri (or equivalent) garage door bolts to a double up and over. Most things come in and out of a heavy wooden door at the side of the garage and if I need to open the main door I do it from the inside. As such should I bother drilling the keyholes from the outside or would you regard this as 'advertising' to the scum?

Also any specific recommendations on protecting access from the window? Any specific bars that people would recommend? I'm not going for Fort Know here as I know the most determined scroat will probably rip the rood off. Plus I'm unlikely to get followed back from a ride.

Pacri bolts work from the inside without the escutcheon on the outside fine.
If you do decide to fit them, just paint them the same colour as the door and if somebody has a drive past/quick glance, they'll be virtually invisible.

I use the ERA ones from Screwfix, and paint the escutcheon to match the door as above.

Scuttler - assuming you mean these kind of things for the up and over:

I've got them on an up and over after an inept attempt (stopped by PIR lights). The locks are a great idea for my peace of mind and may delay the scum by a few minutes which I hope is usually enough.

And yes, you can fit them indoors only. However the external covers are easily hidden/painted, or maybe even better not fitting the covers at all and leaving the two small holes on the outside. Lastly, sorry - no experience of windows.

#Edit - I've just noticed that link say's they're now selling Enfield branded ones, which are half that price on ebay.

The only difference between the Pacri and the Enfield is the length of the the key, otherwise identical.
