So, during this isolation I thought it might be fun to send my muso Dad some vocals for him to add some guitar to and send back. I was thinking that GarageBand on our iPhones would be best. Is this doable? If so, what do I need to know to do it?
Don’t see why not, I think it’s pre-installed, although I’ve never used it, just nowhere near creative enough to play with it. Plenty of musicians have used it to create songs and tracks while touring, there’s more than a few who’ve recorded complete songs with it, there’s loads of plug-ins for it, drum loops plus actual synths and the like, such as Moog, Korg, the 808, all of which can be used with GarageBand, IIRC, it’s very versatile from what I gather.
There's an app called Take which is part of a group of apps.
There’s an app called Take
there’s also an app called “Take That’. Also known as ‘Gary’s Band’
🙂
Well I’ll have a play and see how I get on - will look at Take, too.
Great Dad joke, Maccruiskeen.
