My lad can't get any of our gaiters to fit. He is a prop forward, has done a lot of biking and weights, so has calves that measure 21 1/2 inches around the main belly of the calf. My old TrekMates don't fit him, and my new Paramo ones are roughly similar, measuring about 19 inches across the widest part.
Someone has suggested Outdoor Research Crocodiles, as they are designed to fit over insulated trousers and plastic ice boots. Has anyone got any other suggestions, or roomy gaiters they can measure and post the widest fitting?
They don't need to be much over 22"as he'll wear them with breeks, boots and stockings.
