Your time here is important to us ,please hold while we access your new device. If there is no response in 27 seconds please switch everything off and try again. Thank you for your patience at these testing times, peas out.

403 is "forbidden," the site is actively rejecting your connection for some reason.

Is everything patched up to date?

Does it do it with a different browser?

If you're on Wi-Fi, does it do it using mobile data?

(Oh, and, what phone?)

Thanks, its a Google Chrome thing. Got in via Firefox.

Phone is a reconditioned Moto G7 Plus.

Very kindly got sent one by TheArtistFormerlyKnownAsASTR that got me out of a hole a few months back, but the Mic packed up and it was cheaper to buy the same model reconditioned with a warranty rather than get it fixed.

Updated Chrome. Everything is groovy now.

...Except everything is not groovy.

This site logs me out every time I open it.

I've cleared the cache in Google and Chrome.

Any thoughts?

I get a 403 occasionally when posting. Just put it down to the site's general, yet charming, shiteness 😃
