The OH gave me a very nice g-shock for Christmas, but now swears blind that it's beeping every night when it receives its radio signal. I, of course, am fast asleep when it allegedly happens, so haven't heard it yet.
I could RTFM, but it's in very small type, so I thought it easier to ask on here. a) is that a standard g-shock trait and b) how do I turn it off?
Cheers
is she sure its not just the hourly time signal?
mine usually receives just after 1am, but as it beeps every hour this wouldnt be a noticable event.
just had a look at mine, cant see any option to turn a beep on or off when receiving.
mine is a pro trek, but the actual watch unit inside is used in several g shock models.
edited for spelling, its been a long day.
Mine updates in the night no idea if it beeps as im asleep.
It dosnt beep when i do a manual time update tho.
I'm waiting to receive my first g in the post.

However it doesn't mention whether it does or does not beep upon receiving the update.
