I just wanted to spread the word about a challenge my husband is doing to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, after a family member passed away from the disease.
He's going to swim all of the tarns and lakes in the Lake District, across their longest distance, as listed in the Tarns of the Lake District books written by John and Anne Nuttall - 234 tarns, 14 lakes.

Thanks so much - and glad you enjoyed browsing the blog. After completing all the Wainwrights myself, and being used to going from summit to summit, it's interesting to now be going from tarn to tarn instead!
