Or not?

The garage down the road from us actually has a Greggs. What a day it was when that opened. I cried tears of joy.

Suns out, its stopped raining, so I think I'm going to head out on the road bike in a bit and call in when nearly home for my usual.... cheese and onion pasty and a sausage roll chaser

What culinary combinations of saturated fats have you got lined up then?

Cheese sandwich in a wet carpark whilst I'm waiting for an appointment to have my hernia prodded.

Anybody want to swap?

After this morning's coffee machine disaster I hadn't given this much thought. Not a lot in so I may plump for a cheese and ham toastie.

Been a crappy 24 hours due to my cat being killed, so thought **** it and had a double egg double cheese McMuffin and 3 hash browns delivered from maccies (it didn’t stay around too long thanks to an ongoing 2 week ibs flare up and feel even crappier now, you’re welcome)

Canteen roll this morning was Lorne sausage, haggis and black pudding.

Heartburn brewing as we speak.

So far today I resisted the urge when I grabbed a coffee in town, but made up for it with a corned beef, cheddar and chilli jam toastie.

Yesterday i indulged my new found love for Greggs vegetable bakes.

Is there a cheese presence in these vegetable bakes?

Salami and cheese bagel with jalapeno peppers for lunch

Tunnocks wafer and a brew for pud

Tea is still negotiable but likely to involve curry

Nothing out of the ordinary thus far, however, I at lunch put some Beef Ribs (think Flintstones-esque dinosaur bones) on the Kamado to slow good for 5 hours for dinner tonight.

Whopping big rib-eye steaks purchased for steak and chips later after we've been out for a few post-work beers 🙂

Cookies. Lots of them. Not sure why, feel like they're recommended to me. Quite often.

I think so - the sauce is quite peppery so may be hiding a multitude of sins.

I'm glad the cook at home packs in Iceland come in twos....

Tonight was very sensible -  salmon with baby potatoes and greens

Last night was roasted gnocchi with mushrooms and half my body weight in blue cheese washed down with a lot of red wine. I could feel my arteries hardening as we ate. 😎

Started off with Lidl croissants with loads of butter and jam.
Progressed with liver and onions in the pub for lunch and finished off with hash and dumplings for tea

Seven hours of online lectures - 'The uses of humour in therapy'.
Ho ho ho.

Popped to the shop for some milk at lunchtime and came back with a king size Galaxy and a chocolate orange. 🙄
