Afternoon fellow porkers.

As its National Pie Week (which I've unsurprisingly fully embraced) I've just had a cheese and onion pie with a sausage and black pudding roll chaser. Pastry-tastic!

So what calorie-laden delights have we had then? Or are planning to have?

Let's 'ave it....

I'm not that big a pie lover. I have just been to the local butcher for 8 chicken breasts, 12 pork and sage bangers, 16 rashers of dry cured best back bacon and 4 of his hot chilli beef burgers.
I should get a decent sarnie out of that.

Had Pukka Chicken and Mushroom pie and chips for lunch. Very content and a little bloated at the moment.

I didn't know this but just like a premonition for today - I took delivery of a salter pie maker.

So I will knock up a steak and ale and my pastry and report back.

Sausage and black pudding bun for brekkie. With a couple of jam doughnut chasers. Crisps for lunch. Fajitas for tea. Washed down by authentic Italian lager brewed in Northampton

@rone let us know how you get on with your pie-maker. A mate has one and they’re awesome

I really can’t believe I’ve not got one. A situation that needs rectifying

Mrs Binners is presently rustling up jerk chicken 😃

McDonald's breakfast wrap to start the day, big kebab just now to end.

The village chippy is also now offering deep fried Cadbury Cream Eggs. I declined!
