What've we got lined up then?

What has the bare supermarket shelves forced you into now that theres no petrol left to fuel the Nissan Micra's of the pizza delivery drivers?

I've been informed that we're having fish n chips for tea, so I think I'll opt for a light lunch of a cheese, onion and corned beef toastie with plenty of Worcester sauce

What you having then?

Sausage butty and chips for a late breakfast, after having had a small vegan sausage roll in a different cafe after sitting down and ordering drinks before noticing it was vegan only and being too polite to simply walk out…

8 course sushi taster menu tonight 😀.

Poached eggs on toasted Bagel for brekkie. Curry for tea, just contemplating lunch. Hmmmm. Soup or haggis, soup or haggis? Soup AND haggis?

2 x cheese tomato and spring onion wraps, followed by an apple.

Going to drink a couple of litres of diesel later though.

MrsIHN was going to pop into Tesco to get something interesting for lunch, but couldn't get in because of the petrol queue. So I'm having a cheese, onion and tomato relish toastie.

Home made pizza for dinner though, lovely.

Leftover Frittata from last night with a small pot of olives & some fresh figs to follow.

All this while trying to write a application for expenditure on a new weighing system to transfer the wheat to the mill.

I'm not exactly sweating it as I did the same thing 2 years ago for another site so just need to check the details, Pub for an hour this evening so will probably get a Chinese on my walk back from said pub.

Due to me spending 3 hours online to virgin media this morning I haven’t been able to get out to the shops yet, so I’m seeing off a slab of Botham’s Whitby Heritage Ginger Loaf

Just had left over toad in the hole with baked beans and apple and plum crumble. As post ride lunches go it takes some beating!

I started early - last night MrsP found one of those trays of one flavour of chocolate from Hotel Chocolat (Salted caramel wrapped in 70% choc for me). That's supposed to be one serving isn't it?

Pizza. And the daughter is back at uni, so we're back to meat toppings. Might be for one week only, I've really enjoyed the veggie ones over the summer.

This was my midmorning snack, crispy bacon, perfectly fried egg, smothering of brown sauce.

In my defence, it was a 25 mile ride each way to the cafe, so probably calorie neutral.

We've got 2 bags of both of those, Mrs K thinks the other 2 bags are for next week...

Why is it necessary to display the weight of poppadoms, so prominently, to such precision?

They know he's a serious athlete using them for carb loading. Measurements have to be accurate, marginal gains and all that....

It wasn't bought but made - my ultimate sausage rolls with baked beans.

Sausagemeat, grated shallot, thyme, chives and black pudding mixed together then wrapped in serrano ham prior to being encased in my home made puff pastry.

Better than Greggs I suspect (don't know for sure as I've not been in Greggs for years)

That sounds delicious.

Thanks dyna-ti, the rest are frozen. I suspect they will gradually disappear from the freezer over the next week 🙂

I've also made them with fried lardons of pancetta instead of the black pudding, they worked well too

Found some indeterminate "meat" in the freezer. Hoping it's bacon for a sarnie
