Good evening fellow calorie embracers

We’ve not had a FFF thread for a while

I’m in the pub and have been since I finished work. Mrs Binners has just met me and she’s been out to eat later this afternoon with friends

This means that I’ll be grabbing something for myself when we get in.

Sausage butties are go! I’ve just grabbed some nice Cumberland sausages, Warbies toastie and crap cheese singles. Lots of HP sauce will be involved

So, what’s post pub snack of choice?

GO! 😃

Isn’t a kebab always post pub food of choice? Would take a bit of advance prep but I made this yesterday and could definitely demolish after a few beers/ late night: https://www.tamingtwins.com/slow-cooker-doner-kebab/

Usually a chicken strips and chips combo with loads of red salt and spicy mayo after a few bevvies. That or pizza, love pizza.

Soso bad, soso good.

*definitely had that for tea last night, sober.

@binners it’s never too early for a kebab unless it’s before midday. Though tbf my local does a thing called a doner and curly wrap (yep that’s a doner kebab with curly fries in it as well). It’s massive, and epic, and I could eat it for breakfast.

I miss the days when chippies used to close AFTER pubs. Chips and curry sauce.

@bassmandan - I’d happily have a kebab for breakfast. I have done on quite a few occasions

I’ve just got sausage butties in my head now though and I’ve bought ingredients

Mmm interesting. Got the bourbon and IPA elements covered but not thought about nibbles. I'm going to scour the freezer for hydrogenated, bake in the oven beiges. Will report back.

Got a few mates arriving tomorrow night and we'll probably top the night off eating something I'd never normally eat. Art of the horror and fun.

Kebab with chips and cheese is sold as a hoagie round here

Wife and eldest daughter have gone off for the weekend to a uni open day and I’ve been at work then helping a mate cheer up for a couple of pints. Just back and with the squares out of town its me and number 2 daughter with Aldi pizza plus extra chilli and various other toppings of choice plus Jesus and Mary Chain on 11 - then a Marvel film and dough balls. Culture is all very well but sometimes its all about the slobbing

I ordered a mixed kebab last night, Mrs Binners added curly fries

One of the many reasons I married her. She knows me better than I know myself. Curly fries dipped in chilli sauce… mmmmmmmmm
