Good day to you oh calorific ones

Its that day again where calories don't count. I'm bunking off for the afternoon and taking Mrs Binners out for lunch. We're off to the Holcombe Tap which does a top notch line in Lancashire tapas. I foresee an afternoon of black pudding bon bons, mini fish and chips and Cumberland sausage meatballs. In true 'eyes bigger than my belly' fashion I shall do what I always do and order far too much food 😀

What've you got then fellow bloaters? What saturated fats are you drowning yourself in today?

Oatsosimple for brekkie; pedal to work; bacon roll for 2nd brekkie; I'll be peddling home, then no doubt diving head-first into a bottle of shiraz, a large volume of crisps, and then some, rather ironically, Hairy Dieter's Cajun Chicken (just cos its lush!)

Heading into Leek in a bit, going to get oatcakes and lots and lots of blue cheese, that’s motorhome tea sorted. Probably have chips for dinner, eaten on a bench in the street.

Yep, full portion of lovely chips eaten in the shelter of the car boot, all the batter off the sausage as it’s bad for the dogs. Fish finger sandwich for tea with thick butter on the bread. Oatcakes and cheese carried over to breakfast or maybe supper?

Last night for the first time in about 30 years, I had a generous portion of bubble and squeak with a couple of fried eggs on top. It was ****ing gorgeous. IT is an experience i am keen to repeat soon.
