Good afternoon mourning and grieving porkers and grumpy republican calorie fans both
It’s that day again, where with or without a recently deceased monarch, where our thoughts turn to overwhelming our digestive system with saturated fats.
We’ve just travelled back from the lakes and stopped in Windermere where the words ‘I’m not actually that hungry’ we’re quickly followed by an absolutely mahoosive full breakfast which included haggis (which was bloody lovely!) as well as black pudding
What you having then fellow fatties? How are you using food as a crutch to cope with your grief/anger/apathy.
Remember overeating is what she would have wanted.
Probably
on a detox today, had a cheese/ham omlette for breakie and just eaten half a roast chicken for lunch.
just spent 5 days riding on northumberland. the liquid calorie count was far far too excessive.
Cafe ride this morning involved a ridiculously over stuffed crispy bacon muffin. Ready salted crisps and a penguin biscuit for lunch when I got home, and just had to get a couple of bits from the garden centre, which had a cafe. And a big slice of rather delicious Victoria sponge all on its own in the display that was crying out "eat me" at a frequency only I could hear.
Bacon and egg roll with Heinz ketchup.
Realised that Heinz ketchup isn't as nice as Lidl deluxe ketchup, which is half the price and twice as tasty.
Couple of soft-boiled eggs for breakfast, jacket with tuna and cheese for lunch - must try harder for tea...
Goat cheese and apple omelette for breakfast. Cheese and ham sarnies for the train and asian buffet tonight.
Nothing to excess though.
That is what drinking is for..
