I ordered a job lot of frozen pies and pasties a while back to fill the freezer with Carrs Pasties pastry goodness. Time to break 'em out. Can't decide whether to go for a steak bake or a cheese and jalapeño pasty... or both, but I'm definitely having a sausage roll chaser 😀

Whats everyone going for then?

I have a couple of pieces of cod that I'll be frying alongside the chips I will also be frying and some mushy peas, tartare, ketchup, salt, vinegar, lemon all on the side.

Experimentation has shown that my liver can handle 5.5 units of alcohol one day a week while on the low dose methotrexate so I'll be getting a few windermere pales in the fridge too

@mahalo - they look great. And just down the road too. I'm with you on the pie front. I prefer a cheese and onion pie to any other, so I'll definitely give them a go
