There was a thread about this recently. I think the summary was fill it up, to reduce oxygen amount in tank and your fine for a couple of years.

How far to your nearest petrol station?

About a mile / 5 mins to be fair.   Literally brimming it then will save it?  And assuming I don't have many journeys to do October onward, it won't just increase the issues by having a whole tank of old fuel?

It'll be right. Your battery will shit itself long before the fuel becomes a problem.

6 to 12 months.

It decays faster in winter due to higher moisture levels

If it bothers you that much you can buy treatment similar to whats used in boats

Google antiwax anti bug

I doubt it, I bought a pretty NOCO to sort that out. Besides, a battery is a lot cheaper than a block fuel line/ injector to sort out.

Why is he getting a fine for a couple of years? How does a full tank reduce his fine?

Fair enough.

Someone recently posted that a dead stop/start battery in a BMW (IIRC) cost them North of a grand to rectify. YMMV.

I brimmed the camper before SORNING it at the end of March, I hope it’ll still be good whenever I can go camping again. I filled out just in case there were fuel supply issues when this was all kicking off.

Tbh it often sits for up to 3 months over the winter with no issue and the same fuel.

The only problem I’ve had with storage is one year the brake pads corroded on to the discs or at least caused the discs to corrode badly. Needed new rear pads & discs after only 10k miles use. And that was with the handbrake off.

I disassembled Bmw boot to find mine was AGM and a replacement is circa £365.   Anyway I’m off outside to take the handbrake off...

My cars in a clean dry and cool garage and with the fuel inside a tank I don’t see too many chances of contamination, so hopefully it’ll be goo for a bit.
