You do realise that if someone requests advice on a sensitive subject, it doesn't follow that there is any right, or need, to be updated on it?

Haven't worked with him, haven't found time to see him. My life is busy enough.

All come to a head really:

Affair woman's manager has asked her if there's something going. Neither confirmed or denied.

Anyway:

He's told his wife today that he doesn't think he loves her and that he doesn't know how he feels....

I know this cause I'm a work and she's round my house with my wife crying.

"Rob" is at work tonight to take over from me.

My wife tells me she will be at ours when I get home.

So I rang him about an hour ago:

Told him that rumours are everywhere and he needs to address it before I get home as his upset wife is crying at ours.

He says they've been "flirting a lot" but that's all.

I've said I can't go home and face his wife and answer any questions or opinions she may ask of me in an untruthful manner. Therefore he needs to sort it out.

It all seems to be spilling out.

One has left her husband.
The other doesn't love his wife "it's not you it's me"....
The flirting.

I'll see what he says in a few hours.

I've got work to do, I'll update after my ride and evening with Martyn Ashton Tomorrow.

What a mess, at least it's out. We've been in the middle of three friend 'couples' splitting up. Difficult taking a neutral stance.

Well it seems like you dodged some possible bullets there. No one’s going to be interested in what you knew when and you have plausible deniability anyway.

Sounds like it's resolved itself, you're off the hook and now just need to do your bit.
