Too many to mention really, but this is a good one for music fans

Any recommendations?
Coincidentally I was at a talk last weekend where Colin Greenwood out of Radiohead talked about how they used samples, and loops, to build the tracks for King of Limbs. Most interesting.
And, in my opinion, the Do Lectures are better than TED.
Inspiration for anyone who thinks introducing livable streets and worthwhile cycle facilities is just "too hard" in your city:

If they can do it in New York, then why not London?
On TED: Richard Wilkinson, David Stuckler.

Correct knot - but he's still tying it wrong.
It's much easier to tie if you use the two-loop (aka Bunny Ears) method.

Evgeny Morozov summed up nicely my view of the mahority of TED stuff. When discussing various tech based solutions for problems that don't really exist he said:
"Half-baked ideas that might seem too big even for the naïfs at TED Conferences—that Woodstock of the intellectual effete—sit rather comfortably on Silicon Valley’s business plans."
Woodstock of the intellectual effete
Is that supposed to be a bad thing? 😕
This one is pretty amazing if you haven't seen it already.
