Badwater Ultramarathon This ultramarathon is a 135 mile road run from Death Valley to Mt. Whitney in temperatures up to 130 degrees Fahrenheit, billed as "the toughest footrace on earth." Scott ran to a course record win in 2005, his first time on the course.
