does that exist:

"proper" looking player that can sit under the telly and play discs to tv but also could act as a burner for pc that's hidden behind everything ?

Why would you bother?

Well, I'm sort of in the market for both and I'm hoping to keep the massive tangle of leads behind the telly just about penetrable
