Fantastic link. Thank you!
There were two Russian series on Amazon Prime for awhile: 'Sophia' and 'Ekaterina'. Both were superb, and bizarrely, both were productions of the Russian Ministry of Defence. Their clear propagandistic purpose was to further the idea of Русский мир, but even I (as a pro-Ukrainian) have to admit that they portrayed the history quite accurately.
I have also found on YouTube at least three Russian films - 'The Island', 'The Priest', and 'Tsar' - that were, without exception, very good. Tsar contains a few violent scenes - which it would considering it's about Ivan the Terrible - but otherwise, all are worth the watch.
I think my next film will be Bruh/Brat
I've heard good things about it
Cheers, good psa. Mubi isn't doing it for me atm.
ooh good shout.
A slightly silly one, but if anyone hasn't seen the animated short 'Hedgehog in the fog', it's on there and is well worth 10 minutes of your time. And your kids time, if they're old enough not to find it too slow. 🙂
White Tiger on YouTube.
Hedgehog in the fog is superb. A real gem.
