Heading to Les Arcs this summer avec famille but have a couple of days to fill on the way home- anyone have any good ideas?

Me, wife and two girls aged 10 and 7- they're non-bikers but semi-aquatic so somewhere with swimming would be good.

Current thoughts are Le Touquet area for a beach holiday in an airbnb, but the girls love the idea of camping so that could be an option too (no room to take a tent, so would need to be a pre-pitched thingy)

Lake Annecy. It's fantastic in summer.

Beat me to it. Lake Annecy. Lovely. Lots of campsites with glamping options. Les Fontaines was where we stayed

I'm in love with the coast and mountains around Perpignan but its in the other direction so will probably be too much of a detour.

Cheers, put on the list for a day trip!

Will be driving, so ideally looking for somewhere in the north on the way to Dieppe or Calais to split up the drive home to Peebles

I think eurocamp will just let you book by the night. Obviously their tents are where they think you’ll enjoy a family holiday. Got to be worth a browse
