I'm off on a long driving holiday in France and was therefore looking for a good audio tour guide to play in the car that will tell me all about the history of France, culture, etc I don't want something that tells me about the local restaurants and attractions and how to get there. I know you can get these for the Garmin.
Hired a similar thing in New Zealand which had GPS and it was brilliant, totally made the holiday as it told you all about the Maori culture and also history about where you were,etc. We learnt so much about the country, culture and history.
Any thoughts, anyone ever used something to make the journey more interesting and learn a tad of history?
Can anyone recommend anything?
