Just watching the trailer for it had me laughing at the memory of seeing it at the cinema. Hilarious film.

Yeah, it's good, but so, so sad, or rather tragic like TheBrick said. Quite shocked me when I saw it.

Best/Funniest/Most tragic British comedy in years...

Remember the first time I saw it, kept having to pause and rewind the DVD cos I was missing so much of it crying with laughter!

I gave up on it.

Utter crap.

Hopefully Morris's next project will be back to old form.

Saw it on DVD a Christmas, big group of us, don't think anyone laughed out loud (it did have it's moments tho) and was turned off at about 3/4 of way thru. Might have been the circumstances, everyone talking over it and small screen in corner of room, but didn't really enjoy enough of what we watched to desire to revisit it now particularly.

Mild chuckle here and there - otherwise a let down

Yup not great, but I remembered at the time the reviews saying it was a good effort, but didn't quite hit the mark.
Difficult one to pull off though, so 10 out of 10 for trying.

I bought it on DVD when it came out thinking; its a Chris Morris film, it's bound to stand repeated viewing. Erm.... no. Really disappointing. Not one you'd watch twice. I expect its because his previous standards have been so high

I expect this from Chris Morris, and nothing less 😉

exactly.. we didn't cry with laughter but then I'm not sure that everyone was meant to..

I think the job that he did was outstanding considering the subject matter... classic

Whereas I found it really funny, although sad too. Have seen it a few times now.
