I'm sure it's been done before but I can't find how to post a photo from fotopic site

I have a feeling they don't like it. I remember following instructions to post a pic and they never appeared. An email to them raised the reply that there wasn't a problem and they were happy for photos to be posted on other sites. I never could do it though. I soon closed my account and started using Flickr, much easier.
Maybe something has changed now, but before I found it impossible.

Open your photo from the thumbnail. Right click & then properties. Copy the url and paste between [img]URL here[/img]. Delete 'new' from newimages

{img} http://images.fotopic.net/?iid=12z4i2&outx=1024&quality=70{/img}
replace curly brackets with square brackets [] not {}

[img] http://images.fotopic.net/?iid=12z4i2&outx=1024&quality=70 [/img]

Fotopic blows goats for direct linking. They just dont like it and try to prevent you from doing it. As Pennine shows above there are ways around it, but the buggers closed my site down as I posted a direct linked image in a popular thread on here and it exceeded my bandwidth, hence the suspended my whole site.

I moved eveything over the flickr. Much much better.

I too use Flickr but still use Fotopic for odds and sods

Flickr is your answer, as long as you link back using their handy code they're fine with it.
