Just wondering what people views are?

Using Person "A" and Person "B".

Person A buys something from person B on the for sale section. No further communique with from person B since the paypal transaction was complete for nearly a week. (not as a gift). Requests for tracking info etc have been ignored.

How long should person "A" leave it before getting really Sh#tty with person B.?

Does person A: publicly slag off B? report to paypal?

Thoughts.

2 weeks I'd say (unless prior agreements were made for speedy dispatch).

Then let rip if nothing heard. 😀

EDIT: I'm going with the wheels.

Standard STW etiquette is to wait approximately 15 mins after you send your first email and then start a tirade of abuse on the forums about the scoundrel who has wronged you and how you will hound them down till the end of time and have your vengeance in this world or the next.

At least another 5 days I'd say - my pitchfork is away to have a new handle fitted...

Cheers

Might just be me, but I am of the school of thought that if you can find the time to advertise it online, and take payment, then you should be able to post, or reply to communications at least, within 48hrs.

I'd be trying to get in touch yes but it's only a week, I'd also not be posting on here just yet which seems to the norm these days.

Aye, but people can be arses/lazy/forgetful/ill/mid-crisis, but usually just arses.

Isn't there a time limit to file a dispute if you've used Paypal? When I sell items I always post the item within 3 working days of payment clearing. I'd think over a working week to dispatch would be taking the piss a bit.

I have to put some of it down to the weather..... far better to be out riding than posting stuff, however manners and simple courtesy always demand a quick email along the lines of "got the payment thanks, will post on Tuesday " or whatever. Not too hard, and avoids castle/torch/pitchfork interface.

Some sort of life crisis aside...anyone who sells something and then doesn't have the common decency to get in touch and say "thanks, it'll be in the post in x days", is a massive Bertie Blunt. End of.
