Last few years we have stayed close to the boarders but next year I’m itching to go back to fort William, ride wolftrax and some natural stuff through spean bridge. When we first did this we stayed at some lodges but these look like they have had no maintenance in 10 years, complaints of damp etc...on trip advisor, so I’m looking for somewhere walking distance to fort William, b&b with secure bike storage for next June. Has to be comfortable enough for the other half so no youth hostels...

Can anyone recommend somewhere??

Earlier this year we stayed here

<h1 class="section-hero-header-title">Inchree - Chalets, Rooms, Pub & Meeting</h1>

about 4-5 miles out of Fort Bill and quite basic, but the views youwake up to in a morning make it definately worthwhile!!

I stayed in one of the apartments at Achintee Farm via AirBNB, which also has a B&B on site, place was lovely, right at the start of the Ben Nevis path with a pub at the end of the drive too. It also had a drying room and equipment room which I left my MTB and BMX in during my stay with no issues. Its not quite a walk into town, but the taxi was only a few quid I think. If going back, Id stay there again.

I've stayed at Torlinnhe House twice before and would recommend it.

It's about a mile along the loch from Fort William centre so walkable although the owner bloke will also give you a lift into town if you ask him. Clean, well appointed rooms and excellent breakfasts.

If you want somewhere at Spean Bridge then Tirindrish House is also good.
