I wouldn't be surprised if an elected Donald Trump is a far more liberal one than the nomination candidate version.
At the moment he's just appealing to the lowest common denominator.
It's alright, he's built a wall round it.
I reckon he's still a Democrat and is just quite beautifully trolling the Republican party and voters.
He has no principles beyond love of the donald and self serving his own vanity and personal wealth.
He certainly used to be a democrat and he is probably not a real republican it just the vehicle for his vanity project

I've actually read a number of political science news stories espousing that very theory. It is especially pertinent, given his friendship with the Clintons.
I agree with thegreatape he has enough friendships with Democrats, the clintons too for this to be too good an opportunity to screw the republicans for the next decade
