Any negatives to getting the 168?

No idea but I do know if you go for the 129bhb you'll always be lusting after the 168. How do the torque figures compare?

We have the 155bhp manual in the camper and 170bhp auto in the Tourneo, probably could get away with less but wouldn't want to.
We did ask at the local Transit centre what the thought of us having the camper bhp upped to 178bhp, mainly for the fuel economy but they wouldn't recommend and wouldn't say why so didn't bother

I think my custom is a 125, feels a good match for the chassis tbh. I don’t feel like it needs more power. The suspension isn’t exactly the last word in performance as it is.

FWIW I was driving a couple of Tourneos for 3 years. The lesser powered one had comically bad fuel consumption. We used to joke about looking under it to see where all the fuel was going.

mine is the 130 and its ok, do feel it if loaded up on steep hills. do keep thinking about getting it remapped though.
if you have the choice more power is always better.
