I suspect this is most of us on here..
However, if you'd shown me an iPad, I'd have wanted one.. 🙂
Very good 😀
* does not compute*
*is young*
Yes, that's what most people forget when they deride kids these days for being sat in front of their PS3 etc.
If I'd have had that option, I probably wouldn't have left the house either.
Very good that. I was born in 81 but still everything mentioned resonates.
Come on! Wind up Evil Knievil and a Raleigh Burner - trumps an iPad for me.
I remember all of that. Even the 'pope' and his speedboat 😆
Happy days!
It's even better when you mute it and play Paul Hardcastle's 19 over the top of it.
Nun nun nuna 19.. 😀
Top viewing, that clown was scary, but not as scary as Hartley Hare..

I was sat in front of my Oric 1 and later Atari ST for many many hours. Now I'm a well paid IT professional.. and I like outdoor sports too 🙂

Nah I'm much older! My kids were born in the early 80s... 😳
Great vid! Certainly put a smile on my face.
scary...Hartley Hare.
Agreed. He was an unkempt psycho nutjob that was clearly necking a couple of grams of speed on an hourly basis. Bagpuss was a secret psycho, too...
Hartley hare and Pipkins were excellent.
Some of Rupert the bears friends were scary!
Shouldn't this be on VHS, not YouTube?
70's were a shit decade I thought. Life was a lot better last couple of decades- well, till the last 4 or 5 years , anyway.
I always thought Hartley Hare was more of a pervert than a speed freak, only in the Jimmy Saville era could Hartley Hare be considered suitable children's entertainer 😯
3rd time in 2 days?
It is good tho

Can you imagine today's day time tracks on radio 1 getting played 30 years from now and sounding as fresh?!
Enjoyed that....bit sad now!
The memory of ol' Tommy Cooper popping his clogs on live tv makes me a bit sad. I still remember it quite clearly - the crowd laughing him off. Quite shocking when they returned from the ads and Tarby broke the news.
Took its toll on Jimmy T, though...
It was sh1t then, and it's only got worse. Fingerbobs, though...
that makes me a cool man
