Played loud enough to get your Mum banging on your bed-room door shouting "Turn that Bloody row down !" , whilst proceeding to use a hairdryer and emptying a can of hairspray over the resulting Mullet.
Then catching a mini bus to The Highwayman at Threapwood.
Those were the days 😳

EDIT:

Oh lovely, a popup ad for OAPs came up when I looked at it!

used take about a bottle of wine, a packet of fags and nearly 2 hours to crimp my hair before going out on the pull. nothing more sad than a goth who's spent ages getting ready just to get rained on and all the crimping drops out.

Oh how I miss my black suede 12 side buckled pixie boots and frock coat 😥

Loving all the links to the great Hair Metal tracks! That's what real rock music is all about, in its full hotel room trashing, spandex trouser wearing, vomit choking splendour!

I've just watched the Cult vid whilst downing a couple of tinnies and now I'm ready for a big night out. Has anyone seen where I left my winkle pickers and can someone babysit for me please?

My hair used to be longer than Ian Astbury's, now it's the same colour as Billy Duffy's but shorter 🙁

my hair's heading for the same colour, but at the moment it's also heading for the length of Astbury's.

last thing I usually did before going out was feed the cat:

Blimey, the Highwayman! Only went there twice, first time as a chronically shy, permanently sober 18 year old. My mate Chris was always trying to hook me up with blokes, she ended pushing me onto a nice but incredibly drunk bloke. He looked a bit like Val Kilmer but with bigger teeth. I ended up hiding in the toilets! 😆

I always used to listen to Sepultura and Pantera before going out to XLs in Brum, and then when that shut down, Eddies. Not really been to a club since Eddies burnt down.

We took a while to get ready so listened to "daffodils to the daffodils here's the daffodils" the best compilation record ever . I no longer have it and am now going to spend the day scouring the Internet.
