Where can I watch this televisual feast* without having to line the pockets of a media mogul?

*Famine more like I know, but I am a glutton for punishment.

You'll be able to stream Gareth Barry's hat trick and John Terry's English lion heart on the interwebz.

Cheers - I shall give that a go. (Then switch it off after 10 minutes when feeling utterly despondent at another lack-lustre performance).

that's what England do to me all the time. even when they win 3,4,5-nil, it's dull. I guess that's the Italian way, eh?

No longer interested in the performance of the England team.

If Sky's dollars are more important than the majority of fayns (who can't actually get to the game) being able to watch it on terrestrial TV for no extra cost, then **** 'em.

I mean, not even any highlights ffs. Disgusting.

Any club > England.

yeah, that makes a lot of sense. you can say exactly the same about club football. sky dollars escalating the financial climate of the game and outpricing families from supporting their clubs. maybe we shouldn't care about club football either.

whatever 🙄

UEFA have confirmed that the Rooney suspension will be a minimum of one game.

Eh? As opposed to what, a minimum of no games?

A long way.

Meanwhile, Capello picks up another pay cheque....

I fancy another kebab tbh.

I know, I know; it was a 'large' too. 😳

Whaddya reckon? Another doner?

Montenegro = (England - [s]Rooney[/s] another petulant man utd player sent off because they think they're beyond reproach)

wonder why the rest of the country boos your players ?

Unfortunately you can be a glory hunter with your chosen club but you can't with your country.

We're crap, I don't care.

POSTED 11 MINUTES AGO # REPORT-POST

But seriously - does anything the England team have done in the last 8 or so years give you any joy? I am saddened by the demise of the national team. Give them an old VHS recording of Italia '90 and show them passion, desire and something for the fans to laugh and cry at rather than switch off due to utter and complete boredom.

Not at all; notice how they've actually topped the group and qualified for euro 2012?

Nah, just fed up with the FA, Capello and the fact most of the England players are overrated mediocre journeymen most of whom woon't get into a top Yerpean side. Hardly any of them have the passion and commitment demanded to wear that shirt with pride.

England fayns need to wake up and smell the coffee. This England team, under Capitulationo, aren't good enough to win owt. FACT.

who said we are good enough to win anything ? no one on this thread.

no reason to not support them.

as for........

most of the England players are overrated mediocre journeymen most of whom woon't get into a top Yerpean side.

when were they ever ? there's absolutely no history of our players being desirable outside of england. at any one time there's never been more than a couple of the england xi playing outside of england.

See, this sums it up:

England striker Darren Bent: "It's a massive achievement for the country. It's been difficult at times and it was a tough game but we got the job done and we look forward to the Euros."

Do what son? Are you having a bubble? 😯

What you ought to be saying is:

'To be honest, it was a shit performance considering Montenegro is a country with a population equivalent to that of a small English village such as Sheffield or somewhere, and the fact that any one of us gets paid more per week than their entire squad combined. We are an utter, utter disgrace and truly are scum and deserve to be treated as such. In fact, if I were spat at in the street, I'd take that as a great compliment'.

'Get in' what? Who else has qualified for the tournament? It's something we should be taking for granted, not being grateful for ffs. 🙄

We should be six-nilling the likes of Montenegro ffs. Not drawing 2-2.

This is exactly how I feel about the England team. Couldn't have put it better.

We should be six-nilling the likes of Montenegro ffs. Not drawing 2-2.

And if the England setup think that this is in anyway acceptable then I think we have identified the root cause of the problem. They aim low and achieve their goals. After the miserable performance in SA I put forward the idea of sacking Capello, not paying off - sacking due to gross incompentance. A rule is then put in place that no player over 25 is considered for England. We start again, from scratch, and build a team that can play together. It solves the Gerrard / Lampard conudrum - neither and also gets rid of that study in perpetual excuses for failure that is John Terry.

see that's the kind of misguided arrogance that's given the scots the basis for their whole anglo hating identity.

no reason to expect that at all. balkan nations have a rich tradition of producing excellent technical sides, expecting to go there and win by 6 is ludicrous. population size has nothing to do with anything. uruguay have a population the size of wales and have won the world cup twice. russia on the other hand................

where in any recent times have we six nilled anyone. Why do you expect we would? We needed a point, we scraped it in the end, we topped the group, job done.

Not pretty, hugely disappointing in fact, but still JOB DONE.

I think that England struggle because all those pesky Europeans really get "up" for playing England. Why...for some of them, it's the pinnacle of their careers getting to play a big side like England.
