I baked a cake at the weekend and dates were part of the recipe.

So I brought some dates, had some left over and started to eat them . . .

yummy, can't believe i've never really been taken by them before . . . they are like the sweets of the fruit world, they even look like a sweet, they are sticky like sweets and taste sweet...

its a minor revelation to be honest . . . and they can't be as bad as sweets for you surely?

eugh, don't like dates, but I can relate to the subject. I discovered kimchi coleslaw at the weekend, yum 😀

oh, also. I would be very carfeul about eating large quantities of dates.

I love dried fruits!
Dates have a real 'creamyness' about them don't they.
